1. Can I give NEET if I am from Arts or Commerce stream?

No, you must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. Without Biology you are not eligible. So students from Arts or Commerce cannot apply unless they study PCB subjects.

2. Is NCERT enough for NEET 2026?

For Biology, NCERT is most important book. Many direct lines come from NCERT. For Chemistry also NCERT is very important, specially Inorganic. For Physics, NCERT is base but you need extra practice for numericals.

3. How many attempts are allowed in NEET?

Currently, there is no limit on number of attempts. You can give exam multiple times as long as you satisfy age and eligibility criteria.

4. What score is safe for Government MBBS seat?

For General category, usually 600+ marks is considered safe for many government colleges. But for top colleges, 650+ is better. For reserved category, cutoff may be lower depending on state.

5. Is NEET very difficult?

NEET is not impossible, but it is highly competetive. If you study regularly for 1–2 years with proper revision and mock tests, you can score good. Smart study is more important than long study hours.

6. What is difference between Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff?

Qualifying cutoff is minimum marks to pass NEET and become eligible for counselling. Admission cutoff is actual marks required to get seat in a specific college. Admission cutoff is always much higher.
